Akutoria Academy believes that every child is a genius and we seek to bring out the best in them using the tool of formal and non-formal education. We also work to create an enabling environment for learning; an environment that promotes collaboration, hard work, sound ideologies, actions born out of wisdom, creativity and lots more.
We hold the word of God in high esteem and regard every word from the Bible. We integrate the scriptures into every aspect of the teaching and learning process and encourage the pupils to have a healthy knowledge of God and the world around us.

We use the IXL and Core Knowledge Foundation Curriculum. The schemes of work for the various classes are drawn from these curriculum and the short-term plan (lesson plans) are done weekly from the topics on the schemes.
For subjects like Social Studies, Civic Education, Home Economics, Agricultural Science, Physical and Health Education (PHE) and Cultural & Creative Arts (CCA), we draft our scheme of work from the Nigerian curriculum.
The Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum (EYFS) is used in the nursery classes.
